You'll still be able to see Robben this winter when he tours the West Coast in late February and early March ! He'll be touring with Jorma Kaukonen and Ruthie Foster. If you love blues guitar, this is going to be a great show. I also read that Robben plays on Ruthie's new CD which will be released in February. Ruthie is the real deal! You can check her out on myspace or youtube if you haven't seen her yet.
I haven't seen anything about the format of the show, but I saw that Dewayne Pate, who has toured a lot with Robben and the Ford Blues Band, will be on bass. _________________ Travelling by train of thought |

I've seen Ruthie Foster a couple o' times at the Mammoth Lakes Bluesapalooza and she is good(really BIG voice). Ya gotta absolutely love Jorma. I'm gonna try to arrange a trip but the West Coast venues are quite far from where I live(as if San Fransisco was close). _________________ "Music is a personal experience" -Robben Ford Clinic Dec.7,2002 |
