"Oasis" is on Robben's album, "Tigerwalk".

Red, I don't think thats it, the one he was playing on the video
was in the key of C and he was playing a C minor 9 to F.

Oh. Sorry, stairman2, I was just going off the title. I haven't heard the tune on the clinic you're talking about. What clinic is it? The only "Oasis" I know about is the one on "Tigerwalk".

stairman2, at 5:54 Robben mentions Oasis and as others have said, it's Robben's tune from his Tiger Walk album. In fact, there's an another entire chapter on that clinic DVD devoted to the song. He talks about what he was thinking when he wrote it, how he plays it, etc. The whole tune is only three chords.

Anyway, that DVD is worth every penny so if you don't have it, I highly recommend it.

And, those 3 chords would be...? Very Happy

BTW, if those chords are of the cmaj7th11thdominant4thsus impossible for the average noodler like me to figure out, please tab it! Laughing

Well you're going to love these chords because they're about as simple as it gets.

Cm7(Cm11) - x3334x

Ebm4 (Ebm11) - x66676

Bb7#9 - 65666x

In the clinic video, he talks quite a bit about subbing an EbMaj7 for the Cm7 which works nicely.

You should get the video for yourself for Christmas. You deserve it.

You'll be glad you did. There's going to be a second one some time in the future, but right now, this is the only clinic DVD. Here's a link:
