I finally got it to download, but media player won't play it. I downloaded the .flv player and it hangs up every time I try to use it.

Nobody mentioned Robben playing through a Randall and still getting great tone. _________________ There are no such things as wrong notes, there's only the look on your face.

re: TubeSock
I'm in the process of converting a bunch of YouTube videos onto iTunes via TubeSock, and I must say, it is freakin' awesome! Definitely worth the 15 bucks. Thanks all, for the advice...
BTW, the recent video of Robben et all at The Mean Fiddler is terrific, and well worth saving... |

TubeSock has been a great tool from which I've downloaded hundreds of YouTube videos the past couple of years, however, lately it seems that new/recent videos won't download with the reason given, "This video uses a format that is not supported." I've checked for updates to TubeSock, and I get back that the version I have (2.0.3) is current. Are any other TubeSock users having this problem? For instance, I've tried to download this Robben video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUHwiaI1PHA&feature=related - and it comes up with the error message above. Please help me! There's a ton of new Robben material on YouTube from the last few months that I would like to save in my video library...
Thank you,

have you tried keepvid.com? It downloads vids in either .flv or .mp4 formats...then I convert them with mediacoder software from mediacore.com
Hope it helps.
Cheers! |
