What are they charging for them? I wonder if they are offering a spruce top? |

Wow, those things are expensive!! I had a mint condition MIJ RF that I had updated to the CS specs (same pickups and TonePros bridge and TP, etc.). It was like brand new and I sold it last year for around $2,600-$2,700. I guess I should have kept it. It would have done much better than my 401k! |

Captain...long time no see, it's good to hear from you again
Those prices are silly...but the guitars are quite nice (especially the first one). |

Japanese ones are really great I had one of those. Apparently Fender never stopped making the Esprit model just nobody asked for one (fender CS will build you anything if you have enough money) but now they've released it as an official new custom shop model. Shame Fender didnt listen to Robben and Daved's advice on how to improve the Esprit and evolve it! |

What, no inlay on the 1st fret? I'd be lost...

I'll give up my beautiful Gibson ES335 - it's got the floating tailpiece, and a few recommendations from Garth implemented - one of the volume controls has been modified to blend both pickups. |
