Yes, we adore our guitarists- Robben and everyone else mentioned in this forum. And, occassionally, drummers are talked about. Anyway, just want to share a video of some great drumming by a few of the best. Enjoy!

All in one, en général these drums sessions make me yawn out of myself,
i hope when my turn will come to go to hell i will not have to endure this
absolute boredom..... (I am sure you know the favorite joke of Will Lee)
Apart my young years and ears , when Billy Cobham striked the world with Spectrum and the second one , i never never never felt something about drumsoli ;might be the fact i listened too much Bill bruford band, might be my Hendrix trauma , might be a very strong allergy to Iron Butterfly(which i am still not inhume). Well , there is always an exception so i remember Blue Line in south Alpes playing after Paleo festival
Tom Brechtlein did a BAD MEAN Drumsolo i digged a lot.
Now i must praise you for trying to vitalize this forum with a new thread , that is smart , very smart .

And talking about joke : A dead guitar player wake up in the skies,
someone hurries him up to go on stage , he is handed a very fine guitar
plugged in a dream amp, Keith Moon on drums Jaco on bass, and a lot of fine players, cream of the crop , SRV is there too, the guy pinch himself
and go like : i am in heaven ..... And some one replies : No we are in hell

I think a drum jam like the one on video would have broad(er) appeal if it was combined with dance or another form of art or entertainment. Maybe a live soundtrack to a silent movie, or a Cirque du Soleil show, or a fireworks/laser light exhibit. I don't care much for one-man drum solos, but if there is a guy on the street banging on paint buckets, I usually stop to listen for a while. One exception, I like watching and hearing Vinnie C. when he plays with Jeff Beck on some of the YouTube videos. _________________ Travelling by train of thought
