Rainmaker, not sure what you're getting at. Laughing If it's the 'shrooms, please send me some... Wink

I've only listened to disc 2 of the new McCartney Live in NYC album, and I think it's pretty good (especially his voice at 67 years old) until the last song or 2 where his voice collapses.

Also, I just discovered that McCartney has a few albums spread over 10 or so years in a band named Fireman. It's a collaberation between him being the only musician playing every instrument and a producer named Youth. I bought his most recent Fireman album which I've yet to hear completely, but it sounds pretty good (Paul still can write and rock out). And those who've bought earlier Fireman albums which are now discontinued and selling for hundreds of dollars used have valuable collector's items. Actually, if anyone reading this has the album titled Rushes, please PM me...

Abe Laboriel Jr. son of Abe Sr. is playing Drums and sings with Paul M. on the new DVD and CD live from NY.

I just saw Abe Live with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood and he is so great and groovy. I just thought I would post after seeing the post about Travis Carlton, who is groovy too! I saw TC with RF last year, or this year? The last time I saw RF.

Later z, just say 'no' to shrooms ... I have enough aggravation ... I have never heard of Fireman.

I really like Abe Jr w/Raging Honkies (Mike Landau's band from 90's). He also plays great on Taylor Mesple's Victory Land (it is one of my favourite CDs).

On top of his extraoridinary drumming skills he has great singing voice too:

Thanks for the link, I will have to watch it later. No utube at work, we have it blocked...... Neutral

I love the Raging Honkies stuff too. Abe is a beast! The new Paul McC is pretty good, it's just fun reliving all those songs. Abe kicks it all up a notch, it's better then shrooms .... to me....

Just effin' with ya, RM. Laughing

Actually, I hit 4 months of sobriety yesterday. Yeah, those days of chemically-induced imagery are behind me... Very Happy

That makes one of us Z, I'm very glad to hear your still in recovery.

You go boy!

Frank, we only have Facebook and most message boards. I really should be working instead of checking this stuff? Neutral
