Hi Daved , first of all Merry Xmas & Happy New year to U , and all .
Would U consider seriously about talking to Robben to update his site, i mean a new comer said he found tour dates on the concord site , i 've been on this site and there is dates scheduled up to june 2004.
It's a mess that you can't find this information on Robben's site too.
A lot of people love to plan things way before it happens (unfortunately).
IT might increases the fan's base as well.
Thanks .
PS i can't wait for your alternative web page (confessions of a techie)

Blob, thanx and best wishes to you for '04. Your post here has given me an excellent opportunity to clarify some things for all of you.
It has come to my attention that some people are under the misconception that Dal (DBoothMan) and I are the same person. To clear things up for everyone, this is not the case.
Dal, is Robben's manager and he deals with Robben's business, bookings, Official Website, and record label. I have next to nothing to do with that end of the organization.
The TechTalk site is solely my own and I try to get to it when I can, but it is secondary to my production obligations and, let's please be understanding here, to having a personal life of my own. Any info I pass along there from 'upstairs' (such as tour dates, bandmembers, etc.) has been passed down to me from Dal or Robben himself.
Dal tries to keep things like tourdates as current as possible, but he has way too many other obligations to be adding only a couple of items at a time, or to be constantly changing the "Official" tour list on the "Official" site, as they fluctuate and change. So, he only updates it when he has the time and a healthy amount of confirmed dates. Sure, it would be nice if he could devote attention to the site every day or two and he fully understands the advantages to you fans of doing this if he could, but he can't.
So, this is where I try to take up some of the slack by posting, either on my own TechTalk site, or more intimately on Kirk's message board, things that may not be fully confirmed but are seriously in the works, or addressing rumors you all may find circulating, or updating the changes and corrections that may occur .
However, as I mentioned above, this is dependant upon what info I myself get and when I get it. Sometimes the label's site has the confirmed info before Dal has an opportunity to post it, or before I get wind of it. Actually, (LOL) sometimes the first I hear of some things is thru postings from you guys, or the label's site, or other tour listings sites.
So, obviously, it is to everyone's advantage that you fans get current, acurate, dependable information on Robben's products and appearances as early as possible, but it is not always possible to do that "instantly" on our end.
Dal doesn't talk with the label everyday, and I don't speak with Dal everyday, so there is the inevitable lag in passage of information. My best suggestion is for all of you to watch the various info points and then help to be part of the 'network' by passing that info along to the rest of us. Dal prefers to be as accurate as possible with the news he passes along and the label is limited in the amount of info they have available. I will try to be the go-between, when I can, in more personally answering and/or confirming your questions, while making you all aware of upcoming possibilities or facts.
In short, please bear with us. Or better yet, work with us in bringing all this info from various sources together. Fans like Dave (Kirk) have taken the wonderful initiative to provide a place and forum where ALL of you fans can band together to help us keep everyone informed. I encourage you all to continue taking advantage of it.
We, in Robben's organization, will do our best to keep you all current. But you must understand that we, unlike the hugely well known artists with lots of $$$ and personnel, are a small organization, with a very limited number of resources and only a few people wearing lots of hats, scrambling to do the best we can for all of you.
Finally, all of that being said, let me assure you that I am, as my limited time off during these holidays allows me, getting together an update on my Tech Talk site. I will soon post on Kirk's message board when it is completed and available for perusal. (Actually, there already is one small but, I think, very interesting change on that site which I have been gradually putting together. I haven't really officially announced it yet as I am still constructing, but I must admit, I am rather suprised that none of you eagle-eyes have spotted it yet! )
Well, I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday season and are looking towards a productive and rewarding year. _________________ B C-ing U!
