Great clip! I love how Christian picks the solo after Robben plays. The electric fiddle sounds more like a horn than a violin! Very cool, thanks sfhalo.

And.......you can really tell that Robben is diggin' not being the leader of the band.......I have a feeling he's saying "Just let me play!"
This band is so, so good........take a look again!

Thanks for posting this. I've always enjoyed listening to RF as a contributor to a song, and not just a front man. You gotta know he loves the opportunity to explore new territory.
BTW, this seems to be pro-shot. I don't see anything on Howes website that this might be a published DVD. Anyone know if this show might be coming out for sale on DVD?
Perhaps it was just made for YouTube.

I got it yesterday. Robben plays great on it. I don't love Christian Howes' playing that much, though... I find him just a bit too florid for my taste.

It's a "nice" set, but the guitar is waaay to much in the background for me. I like a lot of the tunes....just not enough axe. First track is really groovin and I am waiting for a guitar "statement," but the tempo slacks and it's a short noodle of a solo. Oh well...that's my problem I suppose. Maybe it'll grow on me. At least I have the old Yellowjackets and Jing Chi to keep me motivated Very Happy . Renegade Creation didn't do for me either for the most part (the vocals were sorta cheesy)...maybe it's me? Probably it is me.
