Robben tells me HAS used them briefly in the last year as a convenience only. They were provided for him for select gigs and, tho they are nice amps, he says he does not own them, does not want anyone thinking he endorses them, or in anyway will be replacing his Dumbles with them. "It just won't happen. I have NO desire what-so-ever to play thru anything but my Dumbles whenever possible." he said with a roll of the eyes. "I love my Dumbles and they are here to stay".
I just tried to buy Robben's Two-Rock rig (head, cab, and interface) today based on this information. I played that rig (with a 2290) before he took delivery of it (although it remains at Two-Rock) and that's why I want it - it's the best amp for me that I've ever played. I was told by Two-Rock today that they cannot sell it to me because it is Robbens.

I'm sure he loves his Dumbles "the most" and equally sure he has no endorsement or other business arrangement with Two-Rock. I never said anything to the contrary. But at as far as Two-Rock is concerned, the entire rig was built for him with his input and is his. Too bad for me, I would have snapped it up.

My TS-1 is #16 (bought it just a few weeks ago) and I love mine! Ive been blessed to have played both a real ODS and SSS and , IMO, this amp is so close to an ODS it's insane. Sorry you didn't get THAT rig. Any chance of Two Rock tweaking a TS-1 to your/RF's specs? They seem to be very accommodating. Thanks for your input on this thread!

No, DD. No immediate plans to be working with Robben. Tho he and I keep in touch and I will gladly lend him a hand if he needs me, he is currently heavily into his own projects and I am kept very busy by Gregg Allman (check out my post in the Daved Zone).
