Alchuck,
The last time I spoke to Fender they still had some cases left and they could be ordered by a Fender dealer. They would probably cost about what you paid for the Esprit, though! I thought that maybe since the guitar had been discontinued that they would give a price break on the cases to get them sold - but no such luck. I'm still looking for a case to fit it at a price that I can live with.

I think I would balk at a case that cost more than the guitar did too... I really like that Body Glove gig bag, though, so that should suffice. Should be here in a few days...

I got a raod runner gig bag from Guitar Center that works just fine. Use it for the tele too. Great guitar though!!!! Real diamond in the ruff.

Yeah, I've been using a gig bag since I got mine,too. But there are times when a good hard case would be nice (flying, for example).
