I am very happy to announce that long-time forum member and resident old codger, Bill Morgan, is safe and unharmed. Apparently, he was at work in his office in Tokyo when the big one hit. Bill was forced to stay in Tokyo overnight hoping that he could catch a train home in the morning. Learning that his wife and cat(s?) were ok, his thoughts turned to his many valuable vintage guitars. Hope they made it through undamaged, Bill, but most of all, it's good that you and your wife are unharmed.

FYI, Bill is very active on facebook where you can read his updates...

+1 !

Its so sad to see these people loose everything and how fragile we really are as a race; everything is in the balance of nature. My sincere condolences go out to the people of Japan who have lost loved ones, friends, and their homes.

It is good news the "old codger" is well. Hope he graces these pages one day soon.

Good luck Bill.

DD

It just hit me that we have a forum member (Bill) in Japan so I jumped on here to see if we'd heard from him.

Glad you and the family (including guitars) are okay, Bill. Obviously the world is watching what's going on over there. Truly devastating and our hearts poor out to everyone affected by this.

All my best. Stay safe.

Jim
