I am learning this tune from the Viva Carlos recording. I have to say...the phrasing and tone are particularly inspiring to me. I am a gear nerd on the side. so...anyone know what guitar/PUP combo is going down on that track. The tone is deep and sounds like a neck bucker, but...different. The low E notes are deep, but no mud at all. Is that a mini? LP? 335? I don't think it sounds like an Esprit...at least not like either of mine. It just doesn't sound quite like anything else I've heard and I'm curious.
