Anybody buy this? I bought it yesterday but haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Should be fun. I'd be interested to hear what other people think of it.

I think I'll get it too. Should be interesting, even though I already have all the learning material by Robben |

There's also a contest launched by Truefire to win some copies of the DVD, you have to play against a backing track.
I took my chance...

I bought the Robben Ford Blues Revolution at the truefire.com site.
It's amazing how he shows that so little can do so much. The "less is more" concept is at its highest here.
It works better with intermediate plus players. A beginner may find the course a bit daunting.
Specially useful is the Rhythm playing part.
Two thumbs up for Robben! _________________ Pepe aka Lt. Kojak

I've been trying to download it for two days. 4 out of 7 downloads have failed and required multiple attempts to get them. I may have finally gotten all of it today. I'll know when I get home from work today. It probably should have been broken into smaller files. Download 7 got down to 3 seconds left last night and hung up and failed. I tried it again last night and just let it run all night. It was still trying to run this morning and then failed again. I tried one more time before I left for work and it was looking promising.
I just hope it's easier to use than it was to download!

Looks like you need a download manager or a better internet connection... _________________ Pepe aka Lt. Kojak

I'm on high speed dsl and I don't have any problems downloading anything else. I think it's just Trufire. I ordered one of their courses on a DVD once before and had problems getting it to run right.

Sorry to hear you had trouble Frank. It all downloaded smoothly for me. Now I just need to find the time (and ambition), to check it out.

I finally got it all and it seems to be running smoothly so far. I've made it through the first part (which is mostly Robben talking about music and guitar) and started on the second part. I'm trying to alot a half an hour a day (at least) to the lessons. That way I can print out the tab for the lesson and work on it in small bites.
