Hi everyone. I've just been watching this on yt

and Robben's tone is stunning. Does anyone know anything about this SG? Is it vintage or reissue? Pickups? Etc...

He talks about it in one of his videos. I believe it is vintage. He found it in a guitar shop and he said it had really been butchered by a previous owner. IIRC, he wasn't looking for an SG, but it sounded so good that he bought it. I hope I'm remembering that correctly. I'll see if I can find the video where he talks about it. I think it was one of the ones where he was recording with Michael McDonald.

I saw more on this guitar watching the video interview posted on another thread here. Robben said he believes there is nothing original about the SG "except the body". He also said he wasn't sure but he thought almost everything else had been replaced.
