If so...
New release with Bill Evans is really good, BUT...somebody please take that DA*N POS...uhhh...POG pedal away from him! I can't even listen to songs with that thing anymore. It's like listening to the cheezy tones of the '80s only now we all know better.
Weird...it's not even mentioned on the RF website...that I could see. I found out by accident.
Anyway...still diggin' the tunes (that don't have the...you know).
If this place doesn't still exist...at least I feel better having vented.

I totally agree with you about the POG, it's kind of ruining the experience for me.
I saw him live a year ago, and he was already playing it.

Apart from that, the Evans/Ford CD is quite pleasant indeed, easy to listen to, with some nice solos and tones.

Agreed about the new one...I like everything on it except the POG and one tune with some dude doing not-very-good vocals at the end that seem to drone on forever...whhooooo hooooo...or something to that effect. The playing...is its usual inspiring self.

I think if it didn't go on for as long as it does...it wouldn't be so bad. This coming from someone with...lemme see...zero releases and no income from album sales.

I check in from time to time, delete some spam, and read some of posts for a bit of nostalgia.

It's a shame, in some respects, but it looks like Robben has moved with the times and uses instagram, Facebook, etc. This forum does not seem to be linked to his website anymore, which may be a reason for the low activity.

This place is still a wealth of information, and occasionally, the old faces still tun up.

Everything's well here, hope it's the same for you.
As you say, Robben has embraced the latest in communication technology, cannot blame it for that, that's the way it goes nowadays. I follow him on both Facebook and Instagram obviously.
Still, not he same as a forum...
