Has Robben played at any of the the "House of Blues" venues? It would seem a "natural." BTW we would all LOVE a Robben Sonny Landreth tour!!!
That and maybe another great musician might make a good sort of amazing guitar oriented evening tour. There are a LOT of us out there who would pay LARGE $ to see such a thing.

Eric Johnson would be the ideal tour mate for RF in this context, graet guitarist and an excellent musician, singer and writer, who like RF can sit back and let the song speak as well as the guitar

I've just posted a link to 'our' site on the EJ email group, and a cutting from the Ventura Interview about Robbens favourite guitar players, so you never know - if our guys talk to your guys and..... etc

Hi,

Sheesss, Eric Johnson would be intimitating as he's such a technician. I would love the Dumble combo show of Carlton and RF as discussed some time ago. Those bootlegs of them together in the 70's just doesn't highlight what they could do together. Another very reasonable choice here that would really fit is Johnny A. They played in NYC last tour and that had to be a guitarist treat!

Oh, it's a fun fantasy, but then my greedy nature kicks in and I want two sets by Robben.
