Having first seen Robben touring with Joni Mitchel I lost touch with him until a friend introduced me to Talk To Your Daughter have since colected all his subsequent releases. Blue Moon has to be my favorite although with repeated listening Supernatural is gaining. The new release Keep on Running is a great change of pace with the Memphis sound.
The only other time I have had the pleasure of seeing Robben was with Phil Lesh and Friends. Jerry Garcia never sounded so good. The other Friends being Billy Payne and Paule Barre I was hoping for a more Feat like performance. Of course it was a Dead thing. Yawn. Hoping to have a chance soon for a Robben Ford show this year. The new DVD release of the 93 German TV show just reminded me of what I and the rest of the Central USA has been missing.

Not to forget the tiger walk tour circa 1997. I wish i were here.
And let me tell u to save some bucks in case they are doing more Jing Chi live...........
