i'm a friend of roscoe beck's, and used to follow the blue line all over cali and the great lakes - dal may remember who i am from all the shows he got me into (thanks always for that!)
i just happened to see the post about bob having to miss a few dates (may everything go well for him and his family - prayers are going out!)
i actually attended the fillmore shows where bob had just joined the band, and have followed each personell change since that time
i haven't seen any postings on the boards that indicate whether or not you got a sub for bob, so i thought to contact you with some info -
i know an awesome sax player in NYC who is currently casting his bid for the SNL house band slot on bari, but he kills it on alto and tenor as well - and who would absolutley kill robben's gig - right up the alley, and i know he's available
