I can't think of anyone I'd rather hear Robben with. I know it would be loads of fun with the definitive Robben Ford fans.

By posters do you mean the album flats??? L.P sized pictures of the c.d. cover. If so there were a few laying out at Yoshi's on Thur. nite. My wife shnagged one, "for me" on our way in to dinner at 8:00. We looked on the way in to the show at 10:00 and they were all gone. Robben was nice enough to autograph it, for her, "to Rose".
I still tease her that it was origionally supposed to be for me....whats up with the "to Rose" deal???? |

Album flats. So that's what you call them. Man, I didn't see those. I have one from Tiger Walk that I got at Guitar Center when Robben did a promotional "clinic" there.
At Moe's there were these small red posters tacked all over the walls. I thought of ripping one down but there was the second show afterwards and I'm not that bold. This was a small venue for Robben and both shows sold out easily even with the Yoshis shows the rest of the week. I heard from the club and Daved both that Robben really enjoyed himself there and could be back. (And the Dumble came home to roost!) Hopefully they will be able to work something out the next time they come through, maybe even a Jing Chi show Hope springs eternal. _________________ There are no such things as wrong notes, there's only the look on your face.
