Way off topic here, but I was witness to a bike/car accident this morning on the way in to work. Lucky thing, the cyclist was not hurt badly, just some scrapes and a bad scare. Since she was not wearing a helmet she was VERY lucky. So put on a damn helmet, people!

Hey Guys,
You "wake up like the chickens"
like we would say in Italy
(in the sense that chickens wake up early... ). If it's 4.30 p.m. here, it is pretty early over there.

It's a beautiful sunny afternoon here in Trieste. 6 degrees this morning, so it must be warmer than that by now. I'm just about to leave the office.. I'd put on a helmet but I'm in a car. I've got some neat austrian shoes on that are comfortable and I quite like...

Arrivederci! Have a good day!

Yes, some of us are morning people....but I would LOVE to be in Italy today. I was reading all about Ferrari and Turin yesterday, so now I have got the wanderlust again....
elizabeth
and I am about to leave for school (late, as usual!)

Oh gee, I'm ALWAYS late for work.
And I'd love to be in the San Francisco Bay area today! More precisely Sausalito. I'd go the Cafe' Trieste if it still exists - or if it ever existed... maybe I was dreaming... it was such a long time ago (1990ish)..

Anyway, to put Robben Ford back into the picture somehow, anybody interested in hearing my bands version of BADGE? Recorded live on Valentines Day?? And we sound pretty lousy too!!

.... I'd better creep out quietly now....

and I adore Sausalito. (Or at least I think it is still there...)If you come to the Bay Area, we can go there for an espresso! We would love to hear your "Badge" (well, I would!) Prego...grazi.

I am a road cyclist (in 1998 I rode across the US from Seattle to DC) and would not consider for a picosecond getting on the bike without a helmet. I've had one encounter with a car where the helmet broke but I walked away with little more than a headache - otherwise it would have been bad, real bad.

You make us proud (and happy we don't have to bandage scrambled brains...boo boos we can kiss anytime!) REAL MEN (and women) wear helmets, and the members on this board are so cool! Your wit, musical knowledge (and impeccable taste,) and wry senses of humor make my day!

Raiders of the Lost Bark? I wish I had thought of that!

I always wanted one of those beer hats, with two cans of beer and long straws, to wear while was playing. Seems like a damn good idea for outdoor summer gigs! Maybe I could get an endorsement...

This is the first time I visited this part of the message board. You are all hilarious! I will have to visit more often. Hmmm. What should we talk about now. We've exhausted helmuts and shoes. How about sharing what other music we all like. I am a big James Taylor fan and like Mana (rock band from Mexico), Ottmar Liebert, old jazz, old blues, etc. etc. Please share and let's talk about it. Very Happy
