Hi,
I really love Jon Kreisberg's playing. I saw him live on Saturday night. I saw Robben on Friday btw... To be honest, I enjoyed Robben, but Jon blew me away! He is an incredible player. Lyrical, chops galore, harmonic content, incredible chord work. The real deal!
Here is a snippet from his brand new Criss Cross release. This track mellow, but the boy can burn!! He did an upbeat Giant Steps and Moments Notice when I saw him. If you decide to get his cd, Trioing is the last one. It is good too. The new one on Criss Cross label is a little better imo.

Scott, if that is typical of his playing, then you just sold a CD or two. It is nice to hear some tasteful, melodic playing for a change. I was beginning to think that Robben was the only one who could do that! (Hmm, I must be in my grumpy-old-man mood today.)
