What is the story behind the Kazu Matsui project ? Who is Kazu Matsui ? Any info would be helpful. I'm not familiar with these RF/Matusui recordings:

Standing on the Outside "Love is a Heartache" (1983)
Time No Longer (1981)

Also, did Robben do any soundtracks other than?:

The Firm "Start it Up (N.O.S.)"
The Whole Nine Yards "Tenth Avenue Tango"

Jerry Granelli " A song I thought I heard Buddy sing"
A.J. Croce's first CD ( no title )

Echoes of Ellington vol.1 and vol.2, to hear Robben go full jazz !

Jimmy Witherspoon, "Live at the Mint" features Robben throughout and is a great CD. There are at least 2 other Witherspoon CD's with Robben Ford playing.
Another is Rhythmstick, might be out of print, Robben's on at least 2 songs, the leader for this session was Dizzy Gillespie, I think.

I was forgetting "Casino Lights - Live in Montreux", with Yellowjackets performing with Robben, and Robben playing with Randy Crawford, David Sanborn, Neil Larsen...

Do not forget the Joni Mitchell stuff . "Miles of Aisles" ?

F-Zero Arranged ~ These are all jazz arrangements of some of F-Zero's tunes. Marc Russo on sax and Robben Ford on guitar. Very cool if you like jazz! ~ (Original CD: TKCA-30516 /Nintendo? /92.3.25)

Hi Road:

I have a copy of the Kazu "Standing..." LP - it sucks. If anyone wants it to complete their RF collection let me know and we can work out a trade.

Like I wrote, I've been away for a few days.

I have an album by Keiko Matsui called No Borders. She is a Japanese keyboard player (see www.allmusic.com or something similar for more details) I only bought the album because Robben plays on it.

He plays on the tracks.....

the white corridor
Kappa (water elf)

He only plays on two tracks. Still I didn't pay much for it (interesting album though).
