I have just added a Donation link to the board. See at the very very bottom of the page.
I haven't asked for any financial help for this board up to this point. It's really a labor of love for me. However, in an effort to keep maintaining this service and adding new features, some of my costs have been going up...specifically hosting and software.
With over 400 members up here traffic has been growing. Consequently, so has our bandwidth needs. In addition, in an effort to get Robben and Daved involved in live chats, I have incurred some software expenses (new chat application).
So if you can help the cause, please do! I think it's a good one!
Thanks for your support!

Dave,
Times are tough right now but I just chipped in a little. I hope it helps and that others do the same thing. You've got a great community going here!

I don't do Paypal, and nobody in their right mind would give me a credit card. Where can I send a check (a good one!)? |

Count me in ... but not via PayPal. Have you got a P.O. Box? Or a business mailing address? Or a friend-of-a-friend who can be your mail drop? I'm not asking for detailed directions to your house, or the combo to the lock on your garage door ... just somewhere I can send a real old-fashioned $10 bill. _________________ - BlueRunner |

What's the aversion to Paypal?
Just curious.

On the other side:
I've used PayPal frequently for three years and never had a problem. I think a lot of the horror stories you hear have to do with people who fell for email scams and such. PayPal has been great to me. I'm sending Dave $50 by PayPal.

Boy, these "gripe sites" sure give you pause. I've never had problems with PayPal but I haven't used it much. Maybe I'm on this side of the law of averages.
What was amazing was that PayPal's address is on John Galt Blvd. Is this an industrial park in Nebraska? Who has the audacity to name a street in an industrial park, John Galt Blvd? Ayn is turning in her grave. _________________ There are no such things as wrong notes, there's only the look on your face.

Paypal is owned by Ebay I think. I have used it about 15 times in the last 8 months and never had a problem. |

I have no problem with PayPal, and my donation's been made. Remind me next year and I'll renew. |

Re PayPal: I personally have no "aversion" to it, I simply don't use it. It'd be just one more thing I'd have to keep track of a sign-in and password for, and even at my relatively young middle age I'm already having trouble figuring out where I left the car keys. _________________ - BlueRunner |
