Wow, awesome playing. So cool for Robben to unleash this stuff in a studio recording.
Along with Larry Goldings, loved his B3 work for years. And I'm always amazed at Steve Tavaglione's playing on the live Gambale album, can't wait to hear him and Robben getting down.

I got my Jing Chi 3D last week, and it is very cool. Can we say who the "guest" is yet Daved? heh I was surprised to see him on there. I've been a fan of "the guest", have probably six of his cd's, and have seen him in concert a couple of times. Still.. you can't beat Robben! Very Happy

Any idea if Jimmy, Vin and Robben will be playing the west coast any time soon? I didn't get to see them last time around. Crying or Very sad

If you enjoyed either of the other Jing Chi albums, pick this one up.

I just have taken a fast-listen to the MP3's from Robbens new JING CHI 3D and find it amazing ! Just like the two other records he plays dirty guitar again !!!

But is there anyone who know what the song "mezzanine blues" means ?

Got my copy of Jing Chi 3D last night! Wow! this is an excellent CD! Every song is great! Particularly like Tangled Up. I suggest everyone in this forum pick this one up ASAP!

My copy is supposed to be in today! I can't wait for 5pm to get here so I can go get it. My music shop guy called me earlier this week. He said somebody had traded in three boxes of CDs and I could have first pick. I got seven CDs with Robben. Three of them were with Jimmy Witherspoon and one was with Joe Diorio, called Minor Elegance. They are all keepers. And now I get the new Jing Chi today! How lucky can you get?

I was right. I couldn't wait for 5pm. I slipped out early and got my copy of Jing Chi. I only got to hear the first cut so far-but that was awesome! It's gonna be a good night! Very Happy
