Hi Everyone,

I decided to start a new post subject, because this IS big news. Patrick has given me permission to announce that they hope to release this video on DVD in October. (They = Blue Rock'it Records...see link below.)

I told him I want to be the first order, but I also told him that I was certain there would be many others who wanted to order it. I have attached a link to his company, and you can tell him, yourself, how much you want to buy the video. Perhaps knowing how much we all want our own (legal) copy will ensure that the release is as soon as is humanly possible.

I followed up on Elizabeth's suggestion, and Patrick was kind enough to respond quickly. He stated that they were still working on the details, and to check back in a couple of months.

Any advice as to when the PBS special (Ford Borthers/Robben/Chris Cain --Sierra Nevada -- can be viewed in New York City or Connecticut. Also, if anyone has recorded a video of this, I'd love to get (buy) one pending Blue Rockit releasing the dvd oficial version (whihc I have pre-ordered). Also, if anyone has any other videos of Robben,the Ford Borthers or Chris Cain, I am very intrerested in getting or trading foir copies. Thanks -- Jeff

Thanks for all the information - you guys/gals are great - so glad I joined the site. Anyway, I have a copuy of Robben playing with Miles during that stint, which apparently is sopmewhat rare, and would be happy to make copies for anyone interested. The quality is only fair -- but Robben is so great,a nd the whole band is excellent -- so I really enjoyed it. Let me knwo -- and if you have any dvd's/vidoes of Robben playing live, I'd love to see them. Can;t get enough of Robben, since in all the times I've seen him, he really doesn't repeat himself and really is always seems ot be creating in the moment -- which is quite rare.

An album of the show at the Sierra Nevada Brewery has come out on disc, through Patrick's label. Check out this link from the Blue Rock'It site
