thoughts I normally wouldn't share...

Could blame it on the excellent Jjaay I just enjoyed, or maybe the pint of tequila.. but I feel I must share.. it might bring a smile to someone's face.

After hearing some Peter Framton on the radio sometime today.. (not sure if it was the ride to work at 5am, or the trip home at 4p (after 9 holes of golf). I put on some Framton live (which blew me away). I was trying to emulatate "being there".. concert sound. After adjusting the EQ multiple times, umm..? heh Then I switched to some Clapton (Derek/Domino's time).. ((close yer eyes.. imagine sitting on a blanket @ some out door concert)).. Eventually, switching to the Ohne<sp> Filter DVD, of Robben's..

My eyes have teared up multiple times tonight.. (mostly durring the '93 show).. *sigh*.

I'm done rambling... hehe.. just in time for the last song of "talk to your daughter"...

/me back to the show.. (I might have to rewind back a couple of songs..).. GO ROBBEN!.. man.. I wish I could go to another show... I could become another Liz! Very Happy

....or maybe I can be close to as good as him someday..... I've decided not to sell my fuchs ods100.. and practice more? *g*

((I'm questioning if I should hit "submit".. but shit.. maybe atlease blob could enjoy this post.. lol))

mmmmm..

Hey, you could do a lot worse! Try it sometime...you might like it! (And I am glad you submitted this...it was fun reading; I am sure the Lobsterman loved it, too!)

While we're in a rambling vein, try this: http://www.framleyexaminer.co.uk

Only raving lunatics should attempt to make any sense of the content, which, I should warn you, is strictly Brit humour.

Have fun.

PS: The classified ads are a must-read

Nineacres,
That is hilarious. I've been sitting here(at work, shhh), reading and wiping the tears away. Thanks for a great break! I especially loved the vacation photos for sale.

My 90 years old Grandmother sees UFOs about twice a week Wink , but I'm not worried about it. It's not a problem. However, I'm seriously worried about her because she listens to Julio Islesias all day long Crying or Very sad . I care very much about my Grandmother.

Now is the hour when I must say good-bye: I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow, and I'll see Robben at the Folkest Festival (Spilimbergo) next Sunday. It makes me feel like flying 10 meters above the ground!

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Be sure, "Everything Is Under Control":

Footwear Reportage shall be supervised by my husband; meanwhile, I can dedicate all of my attention to the dazzling smile and the deeply unbuttoned shirt.

Ciaooooooooooo

ps Dear Bluelobster, don't be desperate: sons have no responsibility for parents's musical tastes. You can try to administer to your mom a little dose of Joe Satriani every morning, to start with.

Sounds like a great time midc74, I just saw Frampton live here in Vegas a few weeks ago. He is still great, I have seen him about 4 times over the last 3 years.

I love to get a buzz on and rock out to my DVD collection RF, into PF, into Roger Waters into Dixie Dregs into Allmen Brothers………. I have an ever growing collection. Some one gave me some cool live Shawn Lane that blows my sox off every time. I have had a tear or two on nights like that too.

Music is what it's all about for me, it is my only religion.

Jing chi 3D has been in constant rotation in my life over the last week and 1/2. I like it a lot, and it is getting better each time. It is great groovy fusion, I be diggin on it…..

Thanks for sharing
Rob

I'm glad some of you can relate.. and/or enjoyed the read.. hehe

nineacres, I havn't had a chance to check out that link yet, and I'm on my way out the door (going on a fishing trip over the weekend). I've bookmarked it, and will check it out next week. Thanks!

blob, you wish! Wink

Aeolian, been a while since I listened to some satch.. gonna have to real soon.

Rob, I'd love to come over and rock out to your DVD collection too! hehe Sounds like fun. Too bad you're like 12 hour drive from here. Laughing 3D is a cool CD. I've been listening to it a lot as well. It's like seeing a different side of Robben. I think he's able to open up a bit more, not having to worry about vocals, etc..

Well, I've got a 3 hour drive ahead of me.. then it's out on the lake for some top water bass fishing this evening (can't wait!). Hope you all have a good weekend.

ttyl,
Patrick
