I'm glad you posted, Eric. I've been wanting to check out your product for a while now. Where in the Los Angeles/Orange County CA area can I find one to test drive? Actually, I'm in Riverside County, but I'll drive an hour for a thrill.

First, we did put up about 31 new clips this past week. 28 are various guitar and the other 3 are harp. As you can readily imagine, these 28 clips represent a tiny fraction of the number of possibilities that exist. Further, they can hardly replace a personal test. However, you will quickly learn that the amps do well in a variety of styles with a variety of guitars from cool jazz boxes to screaming Pauls and PRS's with some dobros and Tele's in there too.

Next, we are going to be doing more clips to fill in some larger holes. The clips were all done (somehow) at small club levels, so we need to do some moving air clips. Next, I want to have pedal steel and violin clips.

I also put up a series of questions to help select an amp and the speaker & cabinet to complete the combo.

My son has a Black Dagger 1-12 TB. This amp will not do as much as the Sword of Estoc, but it should give you the vintage notion. He lives somewhere in the LA area. He can be emailed at scottpritchard@hotmail.com So contact him for playing time. You will quickly learn that it is a "wolf in a sheepskin" as one owner put it.

If you have any questions, please email me at eric@pritchardamps.com or call toll free at 1-8-SSSO-COOOL - that is 1-877-762-6665... Have a great day !!

Well now, you can check my amps out impersonally via clips on the Pritchard Amps website www.pritchardamps.com . There are two types, artist and demo. The only artist clips are by Tom Johnson and his group Tzer that was recorded at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis. The demo clips were done by Jim "T" Tillson and friends at the Blue Ribbon Sound studios in NYC (49 Ann St.) There are currently 28 guitar tracks and 3 harp tracks. The guitar tracks will give you a mere taste of what is possible. Considering the vast number of possibilities for style, guitars, cabinet structures, amp voices, and tone settings we barely scratched the surface. They are there primarily to suggest that a personal check out is worthwhile.

My son has a Black Dagger 1-12 Tunnel Back for you Pacific coast folks. His email is scottpritchard@hotmail.com. Give him a shout and arrange a meeting.

Otherwise there is better news for the Altantic and Midwestern folks. I do shows - I expect to go to Charlotte at the end of the month, and then there is Chicago, Arlington (TX), and Philadelphia. I believe Columbus OH is in January... And then there is always traveling through the great wilderness to get to the factory in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

Have a great day, Eric

I would like to show Robben my amps during his east coast trip, in particular the Hagerstown gig on June 5. How can this be arranged? Thanks

Eric, good question.
I have responded in the "Daved Zone" with a thread of it's own.
