Which reminds me... ...things of general interest:
1) Robben's been really pleased with his new Les Paul. They've spent a lot of time together recently.
2) Robben told me the other night that he & Mike Landau had gotten together at Mike's place recently and jammed and hung and had a good time. Robben says that the two definitely plan on doing something together soon... most likely somewhere in the L.A. area.
3) While Robben was in Mike's studio, Mike showed him a LP equipped with BurstBucker pickups. Robben told me they sounded really great in Mike's Les Paul, but he's not sure how he'd like them in his own, so he wants to try them out. He spoke with Gibson and they've sent me a set of three to try out.
4) Robben had Gene Baker 'Feiten-ize' his new LP. Someone recently asked about the Buzzy mod. Actually, I've been delaying responding, till all my 'facts and figures' were in. Truth be told, the BF thing is pretty new to me, myself!! So I'll address that subject once I feel comfortable enough with the validity of my opinions. _________________ B C-ing U!

Wow! Daved THANKS for the update.
Mike and Robben doing something together! YEEEEESSSSSS!
I might have to fly to LA for that show! Road trip....who's in?
Maybe I can catch Scott Henderson while I'm out there too. That would be total heaven. Well, actually Scott crashing Mike and Robben's gig...now that would be something.
Blues/ Jazz/ Rock G3! Now there's an idea!
Please keep us updated on the Feiten-ize LP project. I am a huge LP fan and owner. I currently own 2. But they do have tuning problems that kind of drive me crazy. How much does somthing like that cost?
While we're at it? Live Jing Chi CD and/or DVD - anything going on with that?
Finally the burning question......a drum roll please.....where's Robben's Black Baker - she's missing in action!
