In another post, you mentioned that Robben was playing in support of Steve Miller on a show in Detroit. Is Robben opening for Steve? I have not been able to confirm that anywhere. Robben's site does not show this as a tour date. Steve Miller's web site says that Steve is playing at the Jerome Duncan Ford Theater in Sterling Heights, Michigan on September 2nd. The folks at the theater did not have any information on Robben being there. Can you give us any information as to wheter this is happening?

Last word I got from Dal (only a few days ago) was that the show on September 2nd, opening for Steve in Detroit, is still a "go".

I know this for certain as I was speaking with Dal about setting up gear transportation logistics, considering that we'll want to take the Dumble rig with us and then I'll only have one day to transport it back, pick up Hil's drumkit in L.A., and get it all up to Sausalito for our show with Bob Weir on September 4th.

I'll, of course, let you know if I hear anything different.... but, as for me, I am currently booking transportation arrangements and rentals for these two shows with Dal's "blessings".

Thanks VERY much for the confirmation. I can now go ahead and get tickets for the show. If you talk to Dal, you should have him upate the Tour section of the website so everyone will know that Robben will be coming.

I will see Robben on the 28th in Ojai at his clinic. I'll let him know how pleased we'll be to see him in Detroit again!!

I called the theater also......and got tickets "just in case!!!"
I noticed the Record Company site listed 2 dates, the 2nd and 3rd.
But the theater has nothing scheduled for the 3rd.
If Steve Miller sells out, are 2 shows possible?
I could get a double dose!
