Well, overall it sounds as if it's coming out of the little dinky speakers in my computer here at the office, but from a tone standpoint, sounds great! What is it? _________________ - BlueRunner |

I think you should take it back IMHO!
You have submitted some fantastic clips in the past, with great tone (always great playing) but this one sounds like a cheap solid state Peavy IMHO. My little old Mesa Subway Rocket would even leave this one for dead.
What is it? i hope you didn't pay too much for it!
All the best,

Hey Kirk, it's only my opinion, and therefore, doesn't really matter. i am sure other's will disagree on my view.
Did you use the neck pickup with the tone knob rolled right off for the Tele clip?
You have produced some sublime, tone drenched clips but these aren't quite up there with them. It doesn't quite have the smooth warmth of the Two Rock; its actually sounds to me like a SS amp with a tube screamer (in other words, the sound sounds like it is clipping too early).Stick with your Two rock. Sometimes, some things can't actually be improved, although it's human nature to try
Any way, what is the amp?
All the best,

Both clips sound wonderful, Captain. Nice bit of natural break up. The tele sounds good but the 335 is smoking! So, stop keeping us in suspense, what is it? |

maybe the tubes have to break in.
I haven't got proper speakers so I can comment. With pc speakers the Moonpie sounds good. I can sense some midrange. Actually it reminds me a bit of Scottl's sound.

You see Captain, i told you my opinion is not worth considering
I am not changing my mind on how it sounds though; its sounds kind of like a drowsy wasp in a jam jar . maybe its just my computers speakers, but It sure isn't my hearing though as I know great tone when I hear it!
Blob, you make me die at times Could you be right???????
It is a Peavy Captain, isn't it?
Any way Kirk, keep up the great work and playing
All the best,

Actually i performed Shamanic Rites whole night Long and it 's not a Dumble , though i am on the verge to think the result would have been the same, it's a ( what country joe mac donald asked the crowd to spell at woodsock fair ? ).
the Bad new : must be still expensive
the good new : now Kirk if you are cheating on your two rocks, let me have one, i'll take care of his guts. |
