Robben Ford Discussion

Hi everyone. I just happened upon this forum because I was looking to meet Robben to see if he does any private lessons when he's in town.

I am a former professional guitar player and was just noodling around this weekend and learned "Ain't got Nothing but the Blues" (everything, except the last two bars of chord changes) the "Talk to your daughter" Solo and a bunch of assorted song vamps of his.

I'm a big fan and saw him for the first time at the Sausalito Art festival a few weeks ago. My wife mentioned that it was the best band we had seen all summer and appreciated getting exposed to Robben. I got to stand in the front row the whole time and just loved it all. Although I felt really bad for him when the crowd wanted an encore, as heatstroke was plausible.

Anyway, looking forward to getting some insight on this great guitarist's views about writing and playing.
