You are reffering to his pre CBS Fender Deluxe reverb I assume. I know for sure it's some kind of Celeston. I think a G1265.

BTW, Robben sounds just like Robben through this amp!

Hey Dave, thanks for the info. I keep hearing about these G1265's, but I thought his tech site made referance to a different celetion in the 2x12 cabs. Not sure though.

And your right he allways sounds like you would expect. I've been lucky to catch him at a couple instores as well as his show with his normal rig. At the instore in Dallas for the Tyger Walk/Fender clinics, the amp and pedal were just stuff off the sales floor and he sounded great. Same with the one in Denver, still great. It really is the hands and heart.

You playing anytime soon around Boulder?

Craig

I think you are correct Dave! From what I've heard it's a Celestion G12-65 in that preCBS DR. He keep it at his studio close to his home and use it for recording and in store clinics etc.

I have a 8ohm 65's at home. Maybe I should get me a DR Very Happy

Some claim it's been modified by Dumble. Who knows...probably stock...
