I was wondering if anybody had some advice on how to transfer MD files on to hard disc. I've recorded hours of my band's gigs onto 'stereo' MD and would like to transfer them to hard disc so I can post files and burn CDs for club owners.

I have an Apple PowerBook running Panther and a simple M-Audio 2-channel interface. Should I just plug my portable MD player from the audio out into the interface and then record the files to GarageBand? The MD player doesn't have a digital output. I am ENTIRELY clueless about this stuff but feel sure there must be a better way. There are a lot of technologically savvy people on this board, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
