Kirk95: Well, a couple of interesting things have happened since your post of October 12. Definitely a greast ALCS, and a fantastic World Series. If the Red Sox can break the "Curse of the Bambino" win it after all of these years, that must mean that anything is possible. Maybe Elvis will come back, now. Maybe the Beatles will get back together. Maybe Robben will do a live gig in both the Santa Barbara, CA, area, and the Boston area, in the same month. Maybe I'll finally get some chops. The possibilities are endless. (The best possibility, however, is that some time between tonight and Opening Day at Dodger Stadium next April, I'll finally get caught up on my sleep, get a few postponed repairs done around the house, get caught up at the office, etc.) _________________ - BlueRunner

How about those RED SOX! They swept everyone! Ok they spotted the Yanks 3 first!
That ALCS was the greatest sports series I have ever watched. Every game was a marathon of total fear! The World Series was nowhere near the intensity. Where were the real Cards?
Anyway, they killed the curse! Can't wait 'til next year!
