Hi Everyone!

Hilary Jones here (I'm the one Elizabeth calls "Buffy"). You may be wondering why I posted in the "Rob Discussion" section. Well, I've spent the better part of this past year playing for all of you good folks as Robben's drummer, and have enjoyed having the opportunity of meet many of you guys. I just wanted to say, "HEY! YOU ROCK!"

Well, the 2004 touring is over with Rob and the holidays are fast approaching. I had a real blast this year and it was great to see some of you "boardies" at the shows! I am now looking forward to spending time with family and friends, eating lotsa turkey and drinking lotsa nog! With appropriate amounts of rock-n-roll in between of course...

I've lurked at this board more than a time or two and even posted once or twice, and I really appreciate all the feedback from all of you Rob fans! You guys are true blue...and thanks so much for the nice comments.

I wanted to let you all know that I've re-launched my website. It is still a work in progress, but I am really excited about what's to come, so if you could come over and say hey or tell the drummer (or potential drummer)in your life about it, I'd sincerely appreciate it!

Also, in my store I have some great gifts for the holidays...cool stocking stuffers or under-the-tree delights. I'm adding stuff almost daily, so come on by and check it out at: http://www.hilaryjones.com/store.htm

I say thank you to Robben and you guys, the audience, for an absolutely incredible year! God Bless!

Sincerely,

Hilary Jones

Hil,

Congrats on the new website. I noticed that it was back a couple of weeks ago. Love the candid pictures.

Enjoy the holidays and we look forward to seeing/hearing you again soon.

Okay you guys, no excuse not to add Hil's "Soaring" CD to your collection now. It even has some pretty good guitar playing on it. Very Happy

Cool Hil: Thanks for the greast holiday note. If Elizabeth gets credit for the "Buffy" moniker, that's wonderful. You ought to know, however, that when it first began making the rounds, some of us assumed that it was the result of your extremely powerful playing, i.e., that if you ever lost a stick up there on stage, there was some risk that it would go right through the heart of someone in the audience. (And if they thereafter turned into a pile of ash and dust, well ... THEN we'd know. You really are a vampire slayer masquerading as a great drummer.) I was in the crowd that caught you this past February when the whole tour started, at SoHO, in Santa Barbara. Sorry I couldn't drop my job and follow you around the world, but getting reports on this BBS made up for it. Best wishes for a great holiday, and more great music in 2005.

Hilgirl- Saw you in Cleveland right after the "flu epedemic". From the very first beats of the opener (Over My Head) I knew I was in for a great night. Certainly Robben has never toured with anything less than great drummers but YOU really left a mark! Talked about it for days. I thought you and Robben really carried the show!
