Hey Kids, I stumbled onto this hot picker named Scott Lerner. He uses FUCHS Audio amps and talk about TONE!!! You can download samples of tunes by him. He also has a link to Fuchs Audio on his website, which I visited and found www.overlandexpress.com this music store owner has a few Dumbles on his site. check them out. Fuchs sound awsome to me and reasonably priced IMHO

Scott is a contributer to this site, and his talents are well known. He often enters his clips here for opinion, and agreed, he can nail the tone, Dumble or other.

As far as the Dumble being reasonably priced- that is an opinion that would be heavily and heatedly debated amongst forum regulars, right Blobby? Laughing

Anyway, Brian, thanks for your contribution, and welcome. Hope to hear more from you. How do you feel about Robben's playing, and especially, his voice? Can he sing, or what? Smile

Scott who? Very Happy

Nice shop you've got there. You could have mentioned that it's selling Robben Baker Crucible for 15.000$! That certainly gets us RF freaks going!

As a newcomer please answer the no.1 question:
- Do you prefer Robben in jeans/casaul or jacket/smart?

Welcome to the Board!

I don't know if the first message is a blatant plug for Overland or not, but keep your hand on your wallet and your small children if you visit the site. This guy is catering to the collectors out there, not the players amongst us, IMHO. $4750 for a 1967 Super Reverb? Get real.

I was kind of fond of the '59 335 for a mere $60,000. Shocked

Hey guys,

After you get a hold of a Fuchs, you may not be so anxious to buy a Dumble afterall. Scott takes his Fuchs amps head to head with Dumbles on a regular basis -- it always raises a few eyebrows. BTW, it was the Fuchs that was mentioned as affordable, not the Dumble.

Here are two samples I did with a Fuchs ODS 100:

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!
