Hi,
I should really go through the introduction first (since this is my first post on this group) however, if you could bear with me ... my reason for writing is to let Robben's fans in the North-East of England aware that the Newcastle Opera House people have told me that the November 22nd concert "has not been confirmed". Daved, DBoothMan, can you shed any light on this? I'm getting twitchy

Dave,
I've contacted Dal who tells me that, unfortunately, a problem has arisen with the promoter of that date & a complication with another act we know.
Dal does not want to chance the same happening to us, so he has had to cancel and is looking to rebook elsewhere. It's a shame this kind of thing occurs, but we'll do our best to keep everyone informed of developments. _________________ B C-ing U!

Dal just told me that he is still working to see what can be set up or worked out in Newcastle....
So don't give up yet, gang! _________________ B C-ing U!

Daved,
Thank you very much indeed for taking the time to look into this for me - much appreciated. Still twitchy tho' ;-)

I have just received confirmation (by post, would you believe) from Newcastle Opera House confirming the November 22nd date for Robben. _________________ "Creativeness often consists of merely turning up what is already there. Hi Y'All,
My tickets arrived this morning for the Newcastle Opera House "extravaganza" on November 22nd. I've my good lady to come with me this time, and since we were both teenagers in the 60s, she'll be boogyin' in the aisle if Robben does "Badge". Well, no - I'll have to restrain the poor girl - this is dear Olde England after all (not!!!)
Hope to see you there Daved ...

A friend and I travelled 240 mile round trip from Edinburgh to see Robben in Newcastle. It was worth every penny.
Next tour, can you include a date in Scotland please - summer concert in Princes Street Gardens would be good - we've had Tony Bennet, BB King and all sorts there during the Edinburgh Festival.
Robben - it's time you came to the Scottish capital! _________________ Andy
