Daved,
I think its about time RF considers doing an all blues cd...has this topic been brought up?
After seeing Larry Carlton last year on the Blue Sapphire Tour...after that killer release..it would be great to see(after all most of fans are musicians)....just a thought ....like a follow up to his real early blues recording....what do you think?
or maybe "standards" a Jazz classic release...I can see RF at the blue note with a killer band, stand-up bass just rippin'...a super 400 in hand....WOW! his fans would love it,pass it on....what does everyone think?????

I'd love to see a "standards" CD. That would really be amazing. I think Robben has always excelled in picking interesting tunes to cover and then do them in interesting ways. How would Robben cover Djanngo's version of "La Mer" (Beyond the Sea) or "Stormy Weather".

TJ agreed...that would be cool...even some miles, traine..ect a jazzed up Beatles song would be cool as well...the blues with a horn section and his own people...killer! throw Will Lee on bass..with that greek drummer he uses from time to time that guy rocks
hey remember 20yrs ago when Zappa did Stairway to Heaven and the horn section blew the solo...that kicked!
im looking for that hanging curve ball from RF ...peace ...THE BIG MAN!
