|
|
Hi everyone!
My name is Daniel Homola, and I'm a big fan of Robben Ford. I'm terribly sorry about my english, but I'll develop it, I promise
So as you can guess, from the topic's name, the question is, that, do we need a new site instead of the present.
I'm a webdesigner in Hungary, and I'd like to make brand new one, which is nicer, faster, adn even more modern. The main reason, why I should make this site, absolutely free is passion. And the fact, that I belive, that the world's best guitar player deservs a good homepage.
I've made a sketch. It's just, a static picture, you have nothing to do with it. So it's just a layout, to display what I'm thinking about.

Hi Daniel -
Very nice work so far.
I like the color scheme, the red-fade-to-black, and the sepia photo of Robben...very pleasing to the eye.
Keep us posted on updates!

Thanks a lot!
I think the first step, should be asking the other fans if they want a new site. So I wait, until I get some other feedbacks. And the main challenge will be to convince Robben about he needs a new site:)
But yet, I don't even know how could I get in touch with him, so probably I'll ask for your help to get an e-mail address.
It would be important, because, the menu and the content of the site depensd on Robben of course, and I can't really continue planning the site without his instructions. So if you know any of his accessibilitys please let me know! THX again bye! _________________ Homola Dániel |

I think it looks great. Very professional. You've obviously done this before.
I've never been impressed with the appearance of Robben's site, to be honest. In fact, I started to do the same thing you've done - create a mockup of a new site design - with the hopes of providing web master services at no cost to RF. But with three kids, I quickly realized I was biting off more than I could chew.
People who know him are among us on this board so there's a good chance they'll see it.
Good luck! |

Thanks again!
Yes it'd be done in flash, and the a content would be loaded in dynamicly with XML. I can totally enter into your feelings jconstant. I also don't have too much time, but slowly I'll be able to finish it.
So if somebody sees him please drop me an e-mail. THX
Good night. -> Here in Hungary it's 1:27:) _________________ Homola Dániel |
