....the next best thing would have to be to shamelessly promote my son's newest album, right? This is, after all, The Daved Zone, so who would have more right than I to put up a billboard here on my own land, 'ey?!?
Adema has gone thru some major changes and overhauls:
- new lable
- new frontman/vocalist
- one less guitarist
- a new approach
- and a fresh direction
- They're not even trying to be what they were before.
And I think it works.
Kristian played me the final premix working tape a few months ago.
My response at the time was, "Kristian, this is music I'll actually listen to".
- accessable melody,
- layers of harmony,
- interesting and emotional arrangements,
I was very impressed!
It's out now.
Kristian's touring and I went out today to pick up a copy.
There is not one CD to be found for sale anywhere in this town! And I looked everywhere. It is completely sold out.
"We'll have 40 new copies coming in on Friday, sir" etc., etc., etc.
I'm quite anxious to hear how it finally turned out!
Guess I'll have to go to L.A. to get a copy if I don't want to wait.

Shameless? Never! This is the Daved Zone, and it is the perfect place to be the proud parent. I'm anxious to hear it. _________________ www.elizabethgage.com |

Congratulations Daved !
My two kids have been around music ( in one form or another ) all their lives but neither one plays anything but the radio.
I'm very happy for you.
See you this summer ! Ron |

Ok Daved, I understand your pride, no shame miles around..... AND NOW PEOPLE I PROMOTE MY SON HERE WHO WILL doubtlessly BE THE WORLDS GREATEST WHATCHMAKER!!! NO MUSICAL ISSUE BUT he just repaired a 100 years old a pocket whatch that I had found at a flea marked which was completely rotten ( and when I say completely rotten I mean completely rotten) and now it shines like new and makes a wonderful magic tic tac tic tac. Ok it took him 18 months and I should have received it last birthday.......
So all you pride parents let us know about your kid genius,
tic tac |

Daved,
I asked my 21 year old son if he's ever heard of Adema, and I got an enthusiastic "oh yeah"! And this coming from an east coast kid...
Nice website they have, and awesome and brave thing they did playing shows for the troops in undisclosed areas of Iraq.
