Hey Y'all,
I saw Omar & the Howlers yesterday at Tilburg (the Netherlands). Is he playin' the blues are what !!! It was a damn fine concert, a great performance. He will be playin' in Texas next week. Does anyone knows Omar & the Howlers ? Did anyone see him play ? Let me know your experience.
I assume they are based in Austin, because they play here all the time. I saw them a couple of months ago (and once before that). I'm not really into them, Omar has just a small bag of tricks/licks that he uses repeatedly (not that different from me), and he's not a very exciting performer.
And if he doesn't lose some serious weight, I fear for his health.
