Everyday I'm looking for new information about the upcoming European tour. The only thing I know is the tourlist on www.concordrecords.com. A Dutch Bluesclub in my neighbourhood (www.lantaarn.nl Robben performed 3 times in that club) is still busy to get him there. Is there anyone who has more information about shows in the Netherlands or France? Let me know. |

Just found on Daved's site:
The European tour band in October & November will be:
Bob Malach - sax
Dewayne Pate - bass
Tos Panos - drums
It's a pitty Hilary Jones isn't comming to Europe. Would like to see her playing drums in Robben's band. |

Just for info:
Ticketmaster have just sold me a ticket for the Manchester show at the Life Cafe for 20th November, NOT the 19th as listed on the Concord Records site. I've emailed Dal already to see if he can clear up the confusion and I'll post his reply here when he gets back to me.
Anyone else going to the Manchester gig?
Cheers,
Rob. |

Well, for the last two years I have had to travel by train to London and stay overnight to catch the gigs at the Jazz Cafe. It's quite a way from Manchester!
As I was staying over last year, there was no real need to dash away from the venue at the end of the gig (like EVERYONE else), the place cleared in five minutes flat. I walked up to the bar to order a drink and Dal Booth walked up beside me and said Hi. A minute later Robben walked up the other side and said Hi, we got a drink, sat down and chatted for about 20 minutes. Robben was asking ME about MY amps! It was really great.
I can't wait for the Manchester gig
