I saw Steely Dan on TV the other day and they had a guy playing guitar who had GREAT tone and lots of chops. I don't remember which song it was, but he was really hot. I looked him up on the Dan site and it is Jon Herington from NYC. He plays thru a Guyatone amp. I bought his CD and although his singing is not world class (hey, didn't we have this discussion about Robben a while back????), he does a good job and his guitar playing is very tasty. I hope the Dan comes to San Diego soon.
