Right you are Uncle Salty. I had forgotten who wrote it, but I hear the Howlin Wolf version a lot more than the Doors" version for some reason. I like it better, too.

I love the Wolf version, too. He just owns the song, as he did with pretty much anything. It's hard for me to sing it without falling into a lame imitation of the Wolf. Love that loping Fred Below beat, as well.
