Buzz can indeed play the guitar - he got his start with the Butterfield blues band, several iterations after the Bloomfield era, when Butter had his large horn bands going. Very funky and tasty. He is on several of Dave Weckl's CDs which I heartily recommend. |

Really, which ones? I have Master Plan and Hard Wired - is he on those? _________________ "Somebody's got to make some music around here." - Robben Ford |

He is on "Rhythm of the Soul" and "Synergy." Rhythm of the Soul is great - it also has Frank Gambale, who just shreds like crazy, then Buzz steps in with his very understated funk and groove and just blows it away. It is a really interesting combination of styles that works quite well. Weckl also did a series of instructional CDs for Rhythm - you can buy it for guitar, keys, sax or drums (maybe bass, too?). Nice charts with some comments from Weckl. |

For you Feiten fans AND you Neil Larson fans (Who, as many of you know, Robben often uses on keyboards and is also the musical director for the Gregg Allman & Friends projects)...
Neil & Buzzy released 2 albums together in the early/mid 80's as The Larson-Feiten Band.
Both albums, on one disc, are available thru the Wounded Bird Records Label website, if you're interested. _________________ B C-ing U!
