just wanted to come back to the Mean Fiddler gig. It was amazing. Awesome, awesome, awesome. The guy is a genious. I thought he was at his best. What a tasty spicy performance. I found the guest guitarist Dan Weiss has done a fantastic job as well. Not many would cope with that pressure, playing along a living legend. I brought some friends along who've never heard about RF and are really into his stuff now. I am sure we can convert a few more over the next few years Laughing

CoolI guess club owners don't think blues fans are young enough to stay up past 10:00, so they shoo the bluesmen out and bring in disco. Or DJ's. Or "dance music." Or whatever that stuff is.)

May I just say, on behalf of all the DJ's who who play "dance music", that some of us were bloody greatful that he played an early set. I was afforded the opportunity to see Robben (for the first time!) finish his set and still have enough time to drive 80 miles back home and arrive in time for work ...at Midnight.

Let me tell you, in nearly 30 years of DJ'ing, that is a UNIQUE experience for me on a Saturday night!

MORE EARLY GIGS! MORE EARLY GIGS! Very Happy
