Los Lonely Boys are based here in Austin, they play around town constantly; I've seen them play - they are a big name on the local scene. They are protoges of Willie Nelson. He's been nurturing their career for a few years now. Their CD is good too.

Hey Joe, (Where are you goin' with that...)
The guy I was sitting next to was telling me about their connection with Willie Nelson. All I can say is that these guys were on fire and truly a pleasure to watch. They seemed to be having so damn much fun, it was contagious. (Ahhhhh, the magic of performance...nothing can touch it, except being part of the music. Too bad I still can't seem to conquer my performance anxiety...but I keep trying...I actually performed last month...two steps forward, one back...)
KFOG was playing their music the yesterday, and they stopped by the studio to do a live set on air...I'm impressed. I'm not surprised they are a local favorite. Kind of sad that since they opened the show, they played to a sparse crowd; but they didn't seem to let that affect their dynamics! (It made me grumble to see the place filled to the brim, SRO, when Blues Traveler came on. I kept thinking how nice it would be for the Los Lonely Boys to have that kind of audience.) _________________ www.elizabethgage.com
