I've had the new cd CD Keep on Running for a while now and its a great cd. Song#11 "Hand in Hand" with the blues is a killer song and the vocals are incredible. I have always liked Robben's tenor voice and I know performing the blues this is unique. Does anyone know what he is saying in the song Keep on Running right after the first verse....listen close and it sounds like hes naming the chord before he goes into the verse...it sounds like he's saying D or B.....

I listened to Keep On Running and I think you're talking about what he says at 0:50 into the song. It sounds to me like a simple "hey" right before he comes in with "Keep on running..." to start the second verse.

Normally when I play a 'guitarist' album at home my wife is so not interested. She really could not give two hoots about standards of musicianship - if a song's good she likes it, end of story. However, she really loves the Keep on Running album and it's become her first choice if she's looking for a CD to put on during a long car journey. And it's not just the 'accessible' songs - she even thinks the instrumentals are brilliant too - so I played it to my brother and he went out and got it also. It's nice to see music that musos can respect also hitting home with non-musicians.
On the other hand, although I'm a guitarist (sort of) and a massive fan of Robben's guitar playing, my favourite track is probably his version of Peace, Love and Understanding. So spread the word - play Robben's records to your auntie.
