Hey Robben Ford-fans,

I'm a newbie here and I was wondering: Does anybody know the chords to "Cut me to the bone". I'm (the drummer) in a blues(rock cover)band and we would like to play it but it's too difficult for me to find out myself.

Anyone?

Greetings, Paul (also a huge SRV-fan)

my own transcription up until the second solo:

http://www.fingerprintsweb.net/youcutmetothebone.pdf

the chords in the solo section are analysed by what the bass is doing. the chords you're hearing in the solo are actually played on a tapped bass guitar. very cool stuff. you can simplify most of the chords by just playing them as regular 7th chords, but all those added tones (altered 5ths, 9ths, 11ths and 13ths) contribute a lot to giving this song that particular sound.

good luck!

cheers from per

Per,

I really enjoyed your song page. Great playing on all the songs & the singing on Rio de Janeiro Blues is excellent. Some of the links were a little fussy, but they all worked eventually.

Great stuff !
