Im probably going to post this on some of the other familiar forums so sorry if this pops up everywhere.

I live in the UK at the moment and hoping to take a year out to get some money together and go and study in America.

I was wondering, have any of you guys attended MI, LAMA or Berklee. if so could you recommend one or if you think this is a good idea?

I play guitar and am into most stuff, funk, blues, rnb, jazz, metal, rock, reggae, bossa nova and my fav players are robben, shawn lane, nile rodgers, and my fav is probably john scofield. any other great players would be nice if you can think of any ones i should check out
i just want to get some real good music education, not just guitar so i can go on to work in studios or touring or anything.
